Terms

Which terms actually apply to you
This page covers use of this website. It does not govern paid work. What governs an engagement depends on how it was bought:
- Bought through AWS Marketplace
- The terms accompanying the private offer apply — either the AWS Marketplace standard contract for AWS Marketplace or our end user licence agreement, as stated on the offer, together with the scope of work.
- Bought directly
- A signed statement of work and services agreement apply.
In both cases the scope of work controls what is delivered. Where this page and an engagement agreement conflict, the engagement agreement wins.
Website terms of use
This site is provided for information. We try to keep it accurate but make no warranty that it is complete or current, and nothing here is an offer, a quotation, or professional advice you should act on without talking to us.
Content and design on this site are ours. You may quote and link to it with attribution; please do not republish it wholesale or present it as your own.
How our engagements work
Summarised here for transparency. The signed scope of work is what binds.
- Fixed scope and timeline. Each engagement states its deliverables, its exclusions, and what we need from you. Work outside that scope is quoted separately rather than absorbed silently.
- Least access. We ask for the minimum access needed. Assessments are read-only and make no changes to your environment.
- You own the output. Deliverables, code and infrastructure-as-code produced for you are yours on payment. We retain ownership of pre-existing tools and general know-how, and reserve no lock-in — everything runs in your account.
- Your prerequisites matter. Fixed timelines assume the access and stakeholder time listed in the scope. Where those are late, timelines move.
- Confidentiality runs both ways, and survives the engagement.
Estimates and outcomes
Where we quantify a possible saving or improvement, it is an estimate based on the evidence available at the time and is not a guarantee. Cost optimisation findings depend on your workload continuing to behave as observed. We will show you the working behind any number we give you.
Liability
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Beyond that, liability limits are set in the applicable engagement agreement or AWS Marketplace offer terms, not on this page.
Governing law
These website terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States. Engagement agreements state their own governing law.
